CENSUS
started census to figure out the actual number of students studying in government schools as well as private schools.
Main objective of this process is to find out the actual number of out-of-school or registered and studying students in the Districts of Gilgit Baltistan.
The school census is vital for determining what kinds of support a school needs. It takes a close look at the individual characteristics of a school and helps ensure that the right funding goes to the right places, to support the right outcomes.

A comprehensive Geographical Information System covering public sector schools has been developed and in practice. GB EMIS desire to extend scope of GIS to other stakeholders working in the education sector.
